2014 Bulding Project Annual Appeal

- Responses to our annual appeal has been fantastic!

We are eternally grateful for all the donations we have received to date.  Please continue to spread the word – YOU are our voice.

Isaiah Cooper, Executive Director of Keyport Ministerium Food Pantry, said, “The attorneys at Wyndham Worldwide and Day Pitney have been a great asset to this project.  They have demonstrated true professionalism, expertise and knowledge, and have provided us with hours of assistance to navigate the legal issues in this process.  We are grateful to have them on our team.”
Steve Meetre, Senior Vice President, Wyndham Worldwide, added, “assisting The Pantry in this significant project showcases the strong commitment of Wyndham Worldwide and Day Pitney to pro bono legal work and has been a rewarding experience for all of us. Day Pitney is to be especially commended for its tremendous effort and expertise on this matter. It has been a pleasure working with the Food Pantry executives and volunteers and we look forward to supporting the Food Pantry project through to completion.”
 
Construction Progress - Here is a look at the latest from the construction site. The slab is poured and inside modifcations are taking place to join the new building with the existing one.
 
Food Donations – continue to come in everyday and we are truly grateful for everything we receive. We are so lucky to have people that know us and know that we do all that we can to make sure no man, woman or child goes hungry. Visit our How You Can Help section of our website for a printable list of items that are always needed. If you have specific questions about food donations please contact Associate Director Sherry Hill during our hours of operation.
 
Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) formerly known as the Food Stamp Program is of great assistance to many people who are struggling financially and need assistance in purchasing food. Foodbank personnel are available at different locations on a monthly basis throughout Monmouth and Ocean Counties to assist persons who would like to apply.  For further information contact the Foodbank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties – (732) 918-2600 ext. 234.  If you know of someone that needs assistance in applying please provide this information to them. Spanish speaking personnel available.
