2017 is Coming to a Close Soon...

2017 - was another difficult year for many, including us, but because of the extreme generosity of our donors our doors remained opened. There were weeks throughout the year that we were not certain if we would have enough food for distribution but as we were all thinking how we would manage our next distribution day, lo and behold someone would walk through our doors with food donations. In the month of November 2017, we served 270 families equating to 536 Adults and 299 children, totaling 835 individuals. Thank you we could not and cannot do it without YOU!

2017 will be coming to a close soon - and all of us at the Keyport Ministerium Food Pantry would like to express our deepest gratitude to ALL the individuals, churches, organizations and businesses for their great support throughout the year

Thanksgiving Dinners - on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving we distributed over 212 turkeys and dinners. Distribution was scheduled for 9:30 AM but our clients were lined up at 8:30 to ensure that they would receive a turkey. We received a large number of turkeys from the Foodbank, Fufill of Monmouth & Ocean Counties and we were very grateful for the additional donations we received on that day as well. Thanks to Wells Fargo Bank for providing a bank manager and volunteers to help with distribution. Thanks also to Keyport Police Department for supplying the officer for crowd control.

Thank you to all the Donors, Sherry Hill (Associate Director), Natalie Lawson (Operations Director) and all the rest of our KMFP volunteers that helped in the coordination of this effort. A special thanks also to the Boys Scouts.

Holiday and Regular Food Donations - are always welcomed. If you wish to make a donation please contact Natalie Lawson - Tuesdays, and Thursdays, 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM on (732) 888-1986. Due to our limited freezer space if you would like to donate turkeys, hams, etc. we would ask that you please call first to ensure we have room to store it.

I would also like to take this opportunity to publicly say Thank You! to all our great KMFP Volunteers for their time, dedication and commitment to our organization throughout the year. I am sure that those who know some or all of our volunteers will agree that we would not be able to operate the way we do without each one of them.
