 Back to School
The new school year... will be here before you know it! We are in need of various supplies for our school aged children (1st Grade thru High School). The items listed on our How You Can Help - School Supplies page will be packaged and distributed (as available) throughout the month of September.

Please note that due to limited space School Supplies donations will only be accepted August 15th thru September 30th. Donations can be dropped off at the pantry during our hours of operation (Tuesdays & Thursdays 9:30 to 11:30 AM) or call and we will have a volunteer available to receive them.

Thank you in advance for any supplies you can donate – all are greatly appreciated!
After many years of service to the Keyport Food Pantry Ministerium, Reverend Matt Thiringer has completed his role as President of the of the pantry’s Board of Trustees. During his tenure as president, he provided leadership for the building of the pantry’s new facility. The clients, volunteers, and community will always appreciate his dedication to the mission of feeding people.

It is with honor and pleasure that I will be filling the role of president.

I have served as a trustee of the Keyport Food Pantry board for the past eight years, holding the positions of treasurer and secretary. I also serve as treasurer and member of the board of directors of the Bayshore Lunch Program. My wife, Rev. Dawn Seaman, is the pastor of Community Church of Keyport, where I have served as a deacon and elder. After serving as a teacher for 37 years with the New York City Board of Education, my retirement has been filled with many types of community service.
I look forward to working with our volunteers and community supporters to continue to provide pantry services to those in need.

Bill Seaman
President, KMFP Board of Trustees

Food Donations Hunger does not take a vacation and the KMFP continues to serve all of those in need that come through our doors. Unfortunately, food donations during the summer months are always low but we are so grateful to have so many ongoing and new donors that support us in so many ways. Please continue to remember us when you go shopping and if possible pick up a few canned or boxed items.
