  Happy Mother's Day!

Freedom comes with a price – so let’s not forget to say Thank You to all our Veterans and their families on Memorial Day

We owe them our outmost respect and gratitude for all the sacrifices they made so that we can live in a free country.

We also need to remember and say Thank You to all the service men and women that are currently serving throughout the world and hope that they will be home soon.
In Memory of Donald Duthie Sr. – on March 16, 2011 we lost a great friend and supporter of the KMFP.  Don was always there when we needed him along with his wife Helen (KMFP Bd. of Trustees Secretary).  He was a great advocate for our organization and did whatever he needed to do to ensure that we were known to all that crossed his path.  In the last few years Don’s health was failing and he was not able to visit the pantry like he used to but that did not stop him in making sure that he was up to date in all our organization’s happenings.  We are eternally grateful to Don’s family for requesting that donations in Don’s memory be made to our organization.  The KMFP with great sadness said goodbye to a dear friend but he will live in our memories forever for everything he did to support our organization.  He will be greatly missed by all.  New Building Project Appeal – contributions continue to come in toward our project.  We want all our donors to know how grateful we are for all the donations we have received thus far. Please continue to spread the word we need all your support to meet our goal.

We apologize that our Who We Are section has not been updated as noted in the April 2011 Executive Message but we have been experiencing some technical issues.  We hope to have this section updated soon.

As always a BIG thank you to all our great supporters from the KMFP Staff and Volunteers.
