The 23rd of this month marks the beginning of the Fall season.  The leaves will be displaying their beautiful autumn colors so step outside and enjoy this wonderful season.

Children will be returning to school so please remember to drive carefully and also that we are still accepting school supply donations to help our clients (August Executive Message).  We have quite a number of families with school age children so your donations are truly appreciated.  Feel free to contact our Associate Director – Marge Conway during our hours of operation if you require additional information or would like to make school supply donations.

Our latest status:
  1. We would like to welcome two (2) new volunteers – Sabrina Madore and  John Wysocki.  (Our Gang Slide Show
  2. Our business case was presented to the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) panel on August 15th.  We should hear the outcome in the upcoming weeks.
  3. As mentioned in the August Message the USDA published a story on our organization.   We would like to thank Tim Walsh for taking the time to visit our facility and writing this article.  (News and Events)
  4. We continue our research on Federal, State and Local grants that are available and submit applications whenever we meet the criteria.
  5. We continue to receive donations toward our new building fund.  Please help us spread the word of what we are trying so hard to accomplish so that the families we serve can look forward to a better tomorrow.

If you have visited our facility, provided donations to our organization or spoken to our volunteers we would like to hear your comments.  We would also like to hear what you think about our website – i.e. up-to-date, information provided, etc.  Your thoughts on the items mentioned above will assist us in improving our communications so we can keep you better informed on all our efforts.   We hope you will consider sending us your comments. (Contact Us)  We are all very proud of what we do to help the communities we serve and invite you to visit us during our hours of operation so you can see for yourself.  A picture is worth a thousand words!

Your continued donations and support keeps the KMFP Staff and Volunteers motivated to continue striving toward our ultimate goal of being able to provide a better future for the many families we serve.  We would not be able to do it without YOU so a very special Thank You goes out to each and everyone one of you.
